How does a home warranty differ from a manufacturer’s warranty?A home warranty typically covers repairs or replacements for all major systems and appliances in your home often after the manufacturer's warranty expires. How many service calls can you make?As many as you need during your contract term! There is no limit to the number of times you can call for covered repairs.

Do I have to get an inspection before being covered by Protect U?No! Here at Protect U we do not require an inspection or any maintenance records in order to purchase a plan.

Can I use my own service contractor?Yes! We ask that you please reach out to us first so we can authorize the contractor. This will help us ensure that the highest standards are applied. You will usually save the most money and get better work done with a Protect U Certified contract given our extensive due deligence on each contractor.

How long does it take to fulfill a service request?Protect U will send a licensed technitian to your home within 24-48 business hours from your filed request.

What happens if I sell my home?You can take the plan with you to your next home or cancel you warranty
